Day 03 Munnar/ Thekkady:- Another leisurely start to the day. You will be driven 4 hours to Thekkady in the Western Ghats mountain range. Thekkady boasts one of the largest game parks of India - the Periyar Tiger Reserve, where you may spot the elusive tiger and more likely elephants, wild dogs and a large variety of birds. On arrival at Thekkady check in to the hotel.
There is plenty to do in and around Periyar. Perhaps enjoy a boat ride on Lake Periyar to spot wild animals and a visit to the nearby tea estates and spice plantation.

Day 04:- Thekkady -Wayanad:- After breakfast you will be transferred to the Cochin railway station to board train for Calicut.

Day 05:- Calicut -Wayanad:- Arrival Wayanad in the early morning. After fresh up and breakfast visit Muthanga wild Life sanctuary. it is a rain forest reserve connected to two other major sanctuaries: Bandipur National Park in Karnataka and Mudumalai Sanctuary in Tamil Nadu. After noon visit kuruva island, The Kuruva Island with 950 acres of evergreen forest lies on one of the tributaries of the Kabini. The island is home to various species of rare birds, orchids and herbs.
Proceed back to your hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 06:- Wayanad:- After breakfast visit edakkal caves. An interesting trek up the Ambukuthi Hill near Ambalavayal town takes you to the fascinating neolithic cave site of Edakkal. Etchings found on the walls of these caves have drawn the serious attention of archaeologists and historians worldwide. Afternoon visit Soochippara waterfalls.
Day 07:- Wayanad:- After breakfast visit Banasura Dam. Considered to be the largest earth dam in India. Afternoon Pookoot Lake. Set in a beautiful valley and surrounded by evergreen forests and wooded hills, Pookote is one of Wayanad’s top visitor draws. This natural lake near Lakkidi is just a short distance off the National Highway 212. Evening back to Home.
